How to revise your Will as your Family Grows

If you have recently become a grandparent, you may now wish to consider changing your Will. You could have some sentimental items that you wish to pass on to your new grandchild or wish to provide a monetary gift to secure their future. In some cases, you can also provide for future grandchildren to ensure no one is left out if they are born after your Will is made.

If you have recently become a parent, this is a great time to consider your estate planning. You can nominate someone to be the guardian to care for your child if you are no longer around. You can also ensure their money is protected in a trust fund until they are old enough to manage it. Is there someone you trust to take care of your child and look after their money? If so, name them in your Will to avoid someone you haven’t chosen becoming involved if you pass whilst your children are still young.
