What about a living Will?

Previously referred to as a living Will, an Advance Health Directive allows you to make decisions now about your future medical care. In your Advance Health Directive, you can communicate what types of treatment you do or do not consent to in certain circumstances. For example, if you have suffered from a severe brain injury and are unlikely to recover then you may not wish to receive certain treatments to save your life or prolong your life. Any medical decisions recorded in an Advance Health Directive should be discussed with your regular treating doctor before being recorded in a properly prepared document by a lawyer.
